How can I reserve a car?

You can make a reservation online from anywhere,through our website, by calling Our offices (10 AM -7 PM ). You will need to know where and when you want to rent, and specify the car type you like.

How is the outstation trip calculated?

We provide the vehicle as per the daily rates basis ( 9 Hours/ 125 Kms) and in cases when travel to remote places is required on the basis of your trip itinerary. Simply pass your itinerary details to us. Or we can asssit you in designing your itinerary free of charge.

What are the per km Charges of different vehicles?

Due to hilly terrian , per km rates are not feasible as - mostly per day minimum kms requirements are not fulfilled, we provide the rates on daily basis @ 9 Hours/125 Kms. For rates etc plz check the BOOKING FORM PAGE

Are the cars available on Self Driving also?

Presently we provide only Chauffer Driven Cars.

When will I get the car and driver details?

You will get a sms on the mobile number provided by you informing the Driver's name, mobile phone number and the car number about 2 days in advance.)

Will the driver come inside the airport?

The drivers do not have the permission to go inside the airport. They stand with your name on the placard outside the gate of the airport.

Will the driver come inside the Railway station?

You will have to inform the train name and number. Driver will stand with your name on the placard outside the main exit gate of the railway station.

What is included in the charges?

The charges include fuel and driver.

What is not included in the charges?

The charges do not include parking fees, entrance fees, toll charges, taxes.(unless mentioned ).

My booking consists of airport transfer, outstation trip, and local use. Can I make a combined booking for all three types of uses?

Yes you can do that. Simply pass your itinerary details to us. We will be providing you with cost of the trip as per your itinerary.

Do you accept foreign currency?

No. We accept only Indian Rupees.

Can I pay cash to the driver?

You will have to make advance payment before the start of the trip. Amount for the extra use of time/kilometers can be paid to the driver under intimation to our office.

Are there any other charges for outstation trips?

Yes. Driver allowances per day and Night halt charges per night as mentioned in the tariff are applicable.

How is the distance and time calculated?

The distance and time are calculated from our garage to garage located at Kathgodam/ Nainital (Uttarakhand).

Will the unused kilometers and time be carried forward for the next day's trip?

No, Any unused kilometer and time stands lapsed at the close of the day's trip and will not be carried forward to be used next day.

Will I get the invoice immediately?

After the trip if you visit our office during working hours, you will get the invoice immediately. Otherwise it will be sent to your Email ID.

Are there any cancellation charges?

If you cancel the booking 3 days in advance, INR 750/- will be charged. If you cancel the booking up to 4 hours in advance, INR 1000/- will be charged.

Which cities do you cater to?

Currently we provide services for places inside Uttarakhand Only.

What if I have a complaint about your service?

How can I pay for my rental?

You can pay for your rental using a Credit Card/ Debit Card (Visa, Master )

I need to drop off the car at a different location, can I do that?

One way rentals are possible, however bear in mind that a One way fee may be payable..

Are there any fees for modifying booking details or for cancelling a booking?

Normally you can cancel your booking up to 72 hours prior to pick up at no charges.

Can I pay by cash?

Cash rentals are possible in certain cases. However prebooking is required for reserving the vehicle

I am going to return the car later than agreed, is that OK?

If you need to extend your rental please call our service manager as soon as possible. Extension charges/ Late Return Charges may apply.

What benefits do I get with Promotional Codes ?

Prmotional Codes entitles you to a 5 % to 10% discount on car rental bookings.

How is my reservation confirmed?

Kindly make an online booking or reserve your car by calling to our offices or alternatively wrting us at reserv@uttaranchalcarrental.net, however prepayment is required for confirmation . We will send you a reservation confirmation by email. You can print it out and keep it for your records.

If I bring the car back early can I have a refund?

We charge in periods of 24 hours so regardless of whether you rent for 2 hours or 24 hours, the charge will be for one day. If you are returning the car more than 24 hours in advance, the refund can be considered.

What cars are available?

Fleet changes depending on country of rental. Go to the vehicle page on the website to check the cars available.

Can I check rates online without making a reservation?

Yes, you can get a quote online without completing the booking process. Select your dates and pick up location and click on the "Calculate" button. Please note that prices quoted online are dynamic and can change as per company policy.

Are the taxes included in the rental price?

No. Taxes are calculated extra.

Can I book more than one car at a time?

Yes, you can book as many no. of cars as you wish subject to availability. Each reservation will have a unique reservation number.

How old will my car be?

Our cars usually stay in the fleet between 12 and 18 months.

How do I know my payment is secure?

The payment details are entered directed on an https 128 bit secured payment gateway.

Can I choose the colour of the car?

Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a specific car colour. Most of our cars are either Black or White.
